Ambassadorial Scholar Orientation – 23rd 25th February 2007

Greetings!
Following on from our highly successful Orientation weekend in Feb of 2006 RI have again agreed to contribute toward to cost of an orientation program for Ambassadorial Scholars in Southern Africa.
The Orientation program covers very interesting subjects, which I’m sure you will find most stimulating. We will also be having FUN!

For all students outside of D9350 you will need to make your own flight arrangements to ensure that you are here on Friday 23rd February 2007 - before 11h30 at the Mountain manor Back Packers. Departing on Monday morning 26th February
Those flying from Johannesburg – try to book on Kulula.com . http://www.kulula.com/ - excellent rates BOOK EARLY
From Durban …there is only one flight per day so please make your booking very early
In short – MAKE YOUR BOOKING NOW otherwise you will find that you have a problem to get cheap flights.
We will arrange accommodation for all students (including local students) at a Backpackers. More about this later.
Please confirm your flight details.

I have arranged for a re-imbursive travel allowance for students flying in from outside Cape Town.
The cash for your flight will be paid by electronic transfer of funds directly into your own RSA bank account once you have arrived and opened this.
This will be paid on receipt of the faxed copy of your flight ticket and will be limited to a maximum amount of R1000.00. You should be able to arrange a flight within this figure but you must book early!

THE PROGRAMME
Attached is a copy of the draft program. Which is subject to confirmation.
In addition to this, I’m sure that many of you may wish to experience more of Cape Town. This is your own choice and you may wish to stay on for a few days and to visit places of interest. There are many tours, which are available at reasonable prices, and here I suggest that you check out Hylton Ross on their website
http://www.hyltonross.co.za/ They will collect you from your backpackers.
All tour arrangements + additional accommodation will be for your own account

PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT OF THIS EMAIL
This programme is mandatory for all Southern African students and optional for students outside of Southern Africa. I know that the airfares could be prohibitive and RI have not allowed for this in their budget.

Please confirm your flight details as soon as possible – remember BOOK EARLY!

Please complete the registration form and return as soon as possible.
Any Questions…..contact me!

My team and I look forward to meeting you all.

Cheers,

Trevor
